UPDATE: And a record-breaking #TuftsGivingTuesday it was for both the medical school and the university. Thank you to all that helped make it happen. It's you who is making a Brighter World.
Record breaking. That’s what 11/27 is going to be if 500 people make a gift to the medical school on #TuftsGivingTuesday.
Here’s the deal.
Challenge 1: The past, present, & future presidents of the Tufts Medical Alumni Association have issued a challenge: when the school receives 250 donations, Carole Allen, M71, Laurence Bailen, M93, Betsy Busch, M75, Tom Hedges, M75, Bob Kennison, M60, Tejas Mehta, M92, Bruce Pastor, M68, David Rosenthal, M63, and Lou Tramontozzi, M07 will collectively give $25,000.
Challenge 2: And if that wasn’t enough, when we meet that goal, alumnus and member of the Board of Advisors, Sam Ho, M76, says he’ll make a gift of $25,000 IF we reach 500 donations total on #TuftsGivingTuesday.
That means $50,000 for the medical school. You know that will make an important impact for the students and faculty, so be sure to make your gift by 11:59 PM on November 27th!
Public Health & Professional Degree Programs (PHPD): you’re in this too. Dean Aviva Must has issued a special challenge just for you. When 75 people make a gift to any PHPD fund or pay your alumni dues, she will give $3,000 to PHPD.
