Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences
75 gifts for $28,500

A Tufts tradition continues, and you are an important part of it. The collaborative spirit of the GSBS community has come together this year to honor this important day. Gifts of any amount to any GSBS allocation will count. Here’s the plan:

The first 40 gifts that are made will complete the Hirsh Challenge for Biomedical Scientists issued this summer by GSBS Board of Advisors member, Jane C.I. Hirsh, J97P, A04P, AG00P and her husband Mark Hirsh, D.D.S., D68, J97P, A04P, AG00P and will unlock $25,000 that will directly support students, giving them the opportunity to explore the different career paths available to them as well as teach them the leadership skills they need outside of the lab..

Next comes the first bonus challenge issued by Shilpi Banerjee, GBS93. If 25 gifts are made, then she will make a gift of $2,500 to support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at the school.

Then the day will conclude with a second bonus challenge. If just 10 more gifts are made, then Bina Julian, GBS17 will make a gift of $1,000 dedicated to fostering the next generation of the biomedical workforce.

Bringing us to 75 gifts, $28,500, and an important impact for GSBS students.

Thank you GSBS community

Thank you!

In these times when we can still feel so far apart, you helped bring our global community together on #TuftsGivingTuesday. We celebrated and supported our students and faculty, who are leading the way as scientists and scholars, citizens and changemakers, health leaders and innovators. We demonstrated that together we really can build a brighter world.

Thanks again; all the best for the holidays and into the new year.
