School of Medicine
500 gifts for $50,000

A Tufts tradition continues, and you are an important part of it. The medical school community has risen to the occasion and issued impactful challenges in honor of this important day.

Here’s the plan: when we reach 300 gifts, David Fisher, M.D., M63 will give $30,000, then that will kick off the Milestone Challenge where if another 200 gifts are made then these alumni celebrating a reunion this spring: Joel Axler, M.D., M87, M20P, MG20P, Betsy Cregger, M.D., M97, Tino Fernandes, M.D., M72, M08P, Scott Graham, M.D., M82, Stan Helm, M.D., M82, Brendan McCarthy, M.D., M97, and Louise Short, M.D., M87, M20P, MG20P will collectively give $20,000

Double Your Impact Challenges

Give to one of the priorities below and your gift will count twice: it will be counted toward the overall goal of 500 gifts AND will count toward the challenges listed below. One gift – double the impact.

Fund for Tufts Medicine Scholarship Challenge – if 100 gifts are made to the fund Mat Finch, M.D., M87, M18P, M23P & Carolyn Sedor, M.D, M86, M18P, M23P will give $10,000 to support scholarships.

Clinical Skills & Medical Education Challenge – if 50 gifts are made to this fund, then Terence & Pamela Tan will give $5,000

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Challenge – if 25 gifts are made to support initiatives supported by the Easterling Fund, Joyce Boykin, M.D., M81 will give $2,500.

Student Wellness Challenge – if 25 gifts are made to this new fund then anonymous donors will give $2,500.

Dean’s Challenge: Public Health & Professional Degree Programs – Current Dean Aviva Must has issued this challenge in memory of the first dean of Public Health & Professional Degree Programs, Harris Berman, M.D. if 60 gifts are made in his honor to any PH & PD programs allocation, Dean Must will give $6,000.
